Down a bit this morning. It’s best not to think about this evening’s weight, as we had a buffet lunch at work to mark the retirement of our office manager. This may have been followed by an early escape to a convenient pub, where I may have been delighted to find a lovely beer from Bragdy M?s Piws, or Purple Moose Brewery as it might be better known. My brother and I tried their Snowdonia ale on a steam train in North Wales a couple of years ago, so it was nice to see another one on offer. Madog’s Ale proved to be a very drinkable beer.
Anyway, here’s a picture. This was taken from Tynemouth Priory, and I’ve cropped it down a bit to show the moderately celar view to St Mary’s Island and Blyth beyond that. Given some sharpening and tweaking with the Nik tools.
