Light and shade

After seeing that odd gate, I walked up towards the Centre for Life, which I don’t often approach from that direction, which means I’d never noticed this pattern of reflections before. I liked it:

It’s just the light bouncing off the windows on to the yellow wall, but I think it’s a nice effect. From there, I waked around the corner and saw this quite pleasing pattern – the sun is shining through the mesh that surrounds the fire escape stairs, and casting a shadow that looked pretty good to me:
