Weight and Stuff Report – 20 April 2013

Down again today, good stuff.

After the usual shopping, which I managed to get done a bit earlier than usual, I decided to go to Newcastle this afternoon. There was an event going on in the High Bridge area that sounded potentially interesting, and a report may follow. Or not. I also visited the Discovery Museum, where I saw a moderately interesting exhibition called West End Stories, which includes photographs, films and objectes relating to the past of Newcastle’s West End. Worth a look if you’re in the area.

Today’s picture is one where the in-camera processing of the X100S didn’t quite get it right, so I’ve worked on a raw file instead. This is the statue of Cardinal Hume at St Mary’s Cathedral. Getting up close with the relatively wide lens gave me a different view of it…
