Weight and Stuff Report – 18 June 2013

Hmmm, up a bit today. How random…

I had another walk with the Fujifilm X-E1 today, this time heading down to the Quayside, where amongst other things, I saw this:

Quayside Seaside!

Camera X-E1
Aperture ƒ/5.6
Shutter speed 1/1000s
Focal length 35.8mm
ISO 200

Location 54° 58.1706′ 0″ N 1° 36.1811′ 0″ W

Yes, summer’s here and that odd bit of fake beach and a selection of palm trees have been installed. On my way back from there, I thought I’d give the 55-200mm lens a bit of a test, and I think it did quite well:

Keelmen's Hospital

Some nice grungy detail there, which is making me think of doing a black and white job on it later.

Passing through a subway[1] I realised that Big Brother is apparently no longer watching:

Here’s the walk, and if you click the map you can see more information about it

[1] Note to any furriners: “subway” here generally means “pedestrian underpass” and has nothing to do with underground trains.
