Up a wee bit today, mutter, mutter.
I didn’t have the time for a camera walk today, so here are some more photographs from yesterday. These are all from the vicinity of Northumbria University.
I’ve remarked on these lights before. I haven’t seen them at night, but I presume the idea is that the lamp shines on to the disk which casts diffuse light onto the ground. I still think it looks like some kind of alien wossname making an offering to its alien deity….
I’m still rather fond of the elegant structure of the footbridge that links two parts of the campus:
The windmill thingy wasn’t very active, which makes a change…
There are a number of these rough humanoid sculptures around the campus. I find this one oddly pleasing
And finally, I do like the design of the tower and spire on the United Reformed Church:
