Weight and Stuff Report – 21 June 2013

Oooooh! Down again today to a new low for the year so far! Woo, hoo, etc.

I had some things to do at lunchtime, and it was a bit of a grey day anyway, so no photography was committed. But I’ve still got lots to show off from earlier in the week. This is a look at the top of one of the pillars at the front of the Theatre Royal. I do like the exuberant detail in the stonework:

I’m happy enough with the Fujifilm X-E1’s treatment of this one. If I was being arty, or picky, or something, I’d remove those coloured banners, but I’m not so I haven’t.

By contrast, this one started out as a raw file which I tweaked in Silver Efex 2 before making some final minor adjustments in Lightroom. It’s a slightly different view of a popular subject.

The weather forecast for the weekend is a but dodgy, so I don’t know if I’ll be getting out much. We shall see…
