Stuff Report – 17 July 2013

Today’s fun started quite early – we left Pencoed before 9am, and headed up to the quite outrageously scenic Elan Valley, pausing only for a brief photo opportunity  on the way. More photos when I’ve had a chance to review them on a larger screen than my MacBook Air can supply, but for the moment, here’s a view of just one of the reservoirs:

We then took  a scenic route north to Llangollen, which involved crossing into England for a while, gasp, shock, horror. Anyway, here’s where we’re staying:

After checking in, we had a brief wander, then had an excellent meal at Fouzi’s, a nice Italian place next door to the hotel.

We’ve got a busy day tomorrow, so watch out for the next exciting report…
