Stuff Report – 23 July 2013

For my last day in Wales[1], we started the day with a Frankie & Benny’s at Bridgend Designer Outlet. I opted for the Triple Stack Pancakes, which consists of three pancakes, three rashers of nicely crispy bacon and three fried eggs. Not at all bad for £5, their standard price for all their breakfast options. This may have been followed by some shopping.

In the afternoon, we took the train into Cardiff, where after a short wander, we went to Varsity, where we had a drink while waiting for one of Geoff’s daughters to arrive. Further drinks and pizza followed, then we decanted ourselves onto the appropriate trains.

I’ve got more trains tomorrow, of course, followed by a touching reunion with my weighing scale, which I’m sure we’re all looking forward to…
