Weight and Stuff Report – 7 August 2013

Well, if the scale is to be believed, I’m four pounds heavier today than yesterday, which seems a bit odd. I think it is playing silly buggers. I’ll probably change its batteries and see if that makes it behave any better…

I’ve got a couple more pictures from Durham for you today. First, some people enjoying themselves on the river:

Camera: X-E1
Aperture: ƒ/10
Shutter speed: 1/140s
Focal length: 35.8mm
ISO: 200
Taken: 3 August, 2013
Location: 54° 46.3971′ 0″ N 1° 34.3477′ 0″ W

And secondly, something I’ve seen before, but couldn’t quite get a good shot of with my Canon kit. This lovely wooden sculpture is behind some metal gates, and the gap between the bars was too small for my usual Canon lens. But with the X-E1 there was no trouble at all.
