Down a wee bit today, but that’s probably just a random thingy.
Today’s step count is a bit approximate, as I forgot to attach the Fitbit before walking to Tesco’s. So I’ve added a random extra to the count, and that’ll have to do, so there.
I went to Newcastle after finishing my exciting shopping, mostly to see the International Images for Science exhibition at the Hancock. This is an amazing collection of photography from the microscopic to the astronomical, and well worth seeing. I was so impressed that I bought the catalogue which reproduces the images in a form you can take away with you (only somewhat smaller and not as perfectly printed). It’s on until the 29th of September before going on tour, so if you get the chance, have a look.
While I was out, I had a short wander and took a few photos. I liked this one of St Thomas’s Church – the tower almost a silhouette against the sky. I darkened the clock face to emphasise this, and performed some other minor adjustments.
