Mutter. My first version of this was eaten by WordPress, which is a very rare occurrence.
Let’s see if I can remember what I was muttering about.
Yes, we’re back with another batch of weightless reports. The excuse this time is a weekend working in London, as we’re relocating the office to new premises a short distance along the same road from the current ones.
Aaron arrived yesterday to do some preparation, and I joined him this afternoon. Once we’d sorted out a few things, discussed some details and generally worked out what was going to happen, we headed to our hotel. This is a bit further away than we generally go for, but as there was a shortage of rooms in places where we could both stay for three nights (he leaves a day before I do) that weren’t hideously expensive, we went for an only moderately expensive Novotel, just along from Lambeth Palace. And yes, we walked. Once we’d got to the hotel, we had a short break before having another walk to a convenient branch of Pizza Express, and then an early night.
Today’s photo has nothing to do with all that – it’s a part of the war memorial at St Thomas’s Church, Haymarket in Newcastle.
