I don’t know why I’m posting this, because you probably heard me going
Total fanboy overload.
And some nice nods to the last fifty years. Including an appearance from, aaaaah no. Not going to tell you.
But seriously, it was pretty damn good stuff, and I’m going to have to see the 3D version.
And things can only get more interesting from here.
Up a wee bit today. You’d think that having put in a more or less 13 hour day at work yesterday, that today would be a day for having a nice lie in. Well, you’d be wrong. Today was a day for going back to work at 9:00 (earlier than normal, dammit!) and working with my colleague Aaron to add memory to some servers. This should have been relatively easy, but the virtual hosts decided to play silly buggers, which meant I ended up having to shut all the virtual machines down again and bring them up when we’d finished. Fun. Still, at least I had the afternoon free to go to Tesco’s and put the washing on.
The main event of today is, of course, the Doctor Who 50th anniversary special, The Day of the Doctor. As this post is coming to you via a wormhole from the future, it could reveal all manner of things, but it won’t. Instead, it will show you the Gateshead Millennium Bridge, which almost certainly will not be appearing in Doctor Who:
