Back down a bit after yesterday’s unusual rise.
Today was my last day in work this year , and I spent most of it in meetings, which isn’t all that usual for me, but it passed the time. It wasn’t ideal timing, as if I hadn’t been in the meetings, I could have been helping Aaron reconnect all the kit we disconnected a couple of weeks ago for the building work.
Today’s photo is from my recent visit to South Shields. Next to the mutter, closed for the winter, mutter Arbeia Roman fort is a former school, now used as a resource centre thingy. What I’d never noticed before was the rather nice lettering on its sign. Nicely chosen character styles, and more importantly, the apostrophe is in the right place.
