Hmmm, back down today. How random…
After the usual breakfast and shopping thingies, I decided to go to the market in Tynemouth Metro station. It was a bit full of people, so I didn’t stay long after once again agreeing with myself that starting a vintage camera collection would not be a good idea. I had thought about having a coastal walk, but decided it was a bit too windy for that to be a pleasant experience. So, I went back to Newcastle, and had a look at the Stephenson Quarter development site behind the station. It’s a big site, and will include all manner of things, but at the moment it’s mostly holes in the ground and some concrete. But there’s definitely a lot going on in that previously neglected part of town, so there will be more to come. Just along from the new police station development is this exciting opportunity:

I wandered a bit more, then came home in time to dodge the rain. Good plan, I thought.
