Weight and Stuff Report – 15 March 2014

Back down again today, good stuff.

I had my usual Saturday breakfast at Frankie & Benny’s. I’m obviously being spotted as a regular, as the waiter recognised me and knew I wanted espresso. I think that’s a Good Thing.

After that and the usual shopping, it was time for another trip out. This time I went to Hexham, a very old market town dominated by its quite magnificent Abbey. I had a good wander there, and committed various acts of photography before getting the train home.

Here’s a photo of the Abbey:

If you look at the stonework, you can see how different sections were built, or rebuilt, at widely different times.
