Weight and Stuff Report – 23 March 2014

Down again today, if only by the smallest amount my scale can register. But I’ll take even the smallest victory, so woo hoo, etc.

I decided to have a photographic stroll in Newcastle this afternoon, and got some shots of things I’ve never actually photographed before, such as this head that I presume is meant to represent Justice being blind, what with it being located on a 19th century court building:

After a good wander, I went to the Laing Art Gallery to see the Turner and Constable exhibition, which includes a lot of paintings from the Tate Gallery. Admission is a slightly expensive £7 for this one, but I didn’t object. My visit was well timed, because in the Watercolour Gallery, they’ve got an exhibition of the work of Thomas Bewick and his apprentices, which was also impressive.

And after that, I came home.
