Weight and Stuff Report – 16 June 2014

And nicely down again today, unless it is just the scale playing silly buggers, which is always possible, I suppose.

Deatils-obsessed unicorns regular readers will have noticed the slight lack of a step count today.  This is because after over six months regular service, the wristband of my Fitbit Flex broke as I attempted to reinsert the device after charging it yesterday. As it was broken enough to (a) dig into my wrist and (b) to probably keep on splitting and fall off, I decided it was time to get a replacement. I was able to get a pack of three from Amazon, who quite handily managed to process my 3pm on a Sunday order in time for me to get my new wristbands today.

The pack contains three bands – one in a light blue (turquiose, maybe?) one dark blue (not as dark as the original, which is black, and one in a tasteful shade of orange. Not quite Tigger colour, but close enough for me to put that one on. There’s one metal clasp supplied, so you’re not in trouble if you’ve lost the original band. Though how you’d lose the band and not the Fitbit is an interesting[1] question.

Anyway, enough of that, and on with the normal[2] wittering. Here’s a picture of an odd sticker on a sign near the Tyne Bridge. I’ve no idea why someone has made stickers showing a representation of a blender, and even less idea[3] why they’d go to the trouble of sticking them on innocent signposts…

[2] OK, OK, normal for me.
[3] Errr, that’s a negative idea. Not sure how that works.
