Signs of something

Regular readers[1] might recall that I enjoy odd signs. Here’s an example of the local press at its best:

Who at all the pies?

Who at all the pies?

Camera: X-T1
Aperture: ƒ/4
Shutter speed: 1/950s
Focal length: 18mm
ISO: 200
Taken: 26 June, 2014
Location: 52° 58.2642′ 0″ N 3° 10.2163′ 0″ W

Just how many pies would that be? I mean, some people obviously eat more pies than others, so there could be some ambiguity there….

And I have to admit that I haven’t attempted to translate this sign, but it has to be one of the best I’ve ever seen on a tourist shop:

Translations on a postcard...

Translations on a postcard…

Camera: X-T1
Aperture: ƒ/7.1
Shutter speed: 1/320s
Focal length: 15.9mm
ISO: 400
Taken: 26 June, 2014
Location: 52° 58.2372′ 0″ N 3° 10.2172′ 0″ W

[1] Defined as those who actually read the footnotes and complain if any are missing[2]
[2] So that’s just Shirley, then
