Weight and Stuff Report – 7 September 2014

Down again today…

Having totally failed to motivate myself to get out in time to see the Great North Run crazy people crossing the Tyne Bridge, I decided to have a quiet day in, so that’s what I’m doing.

Here are some nice architectural details from one of my recent Newcastle walks:

This modern building looks like a control tower, or watchtower, which might be appropriate as it’s the offices of Nexus, who manage public transport in Tyne & Wear. Not sure how far you can see from up there, though.

Not far away from there is this older building. I like the lettering in the windows – Flip sells vintage clothing.
