Weight and Stuff Report – 9 September 2014

After all that Bishop auckland activity yesterday, I decided on a quiet day in today, so that’s what I did. Did some reading, watched some tutorial videos for my ongoing guitar learning project (yes, still doing it, just a bit slowly at present), and watched some classic material on shiny round things, which I’ll talk about when I’ve finished watching the set[1].

While I was in Bishop Auckland, I had to take a few more photos of the Stan Laurel statue. Once again, the light wasn’t ideal, so I’ve done a bit of firtling[2] with this one – I’ve completely removed the background, for a start:
