Down again today in another random oscillatory wossname. The lurgy decided to wake me up this morning with some serious coughing. Indeed, I felt so rough at the time that I wondered if I was going to make it to work. But within an hour or so I felt a lot better, and got on with the day. Just as well, as I had a moderately important meeting followed by a very important lunch.
One of the reasons for visiting Tynemouth Priory is the views you can enjoy from its high vantage point over the mouth of the Tyne. This is what an unusually busy North Pier looks like from up there:

 Fun fact: this week, I’ll get back the cost of my lunches for Tuesday and Wednesday as I was working away from my normal base, and I had free lunches from suppliers on Thursday and Friday. This hardly ever happens.
