Weight and Stuff Report – 3 October 2014

Down again today in another random oscillatory wossname. The lurgy decided to wake me up this morning with some serious coughing. Indeed, I felt so rough at the time that I wondered if I was going to make it to work. But within an hour or so I felt a lot better, and got on with the day. Just as well, as I had a moderately important meeting followed by a very important lunch.[1]

One of the reasons for visiting Tynemouth Priory is the views you can enjoy from its high vantage point over the mouth of the Tyne[5]. This is what an unusually busy North Pier looks like from up there:

[1] Fun fact: this week, I’ll get back the cost of my[2] lunches for Tuesday and Wednesday as I was working away from my normal base[3], and I had free lunches from suppliers on Thursday and Friday.  This hardly ever happens.
