Hmmm, up a bit more this morning, mutter.
In a slight variation on my usual Saturday routine, I went out early to get the shopping done first. I was so early that the buses were running at “not all that often” frequency, so I walked to Tesco. And there’s a funny thing, it was mostly empty, and I got all my shopping done in much less time than normal. I then got the bus home, unpacked the shopping and headed out again, arriving back in Trinity Square in time to meet my ex-minion Alex for breakfast. He was making a rare visit to the area, and contacted me last night to suggest a quick meet-up. Breakfast was up to its usual standard, and I was shocked to learn that Alex now drinks coffee…
After that, I came home and headed out soon afterwards to get a train to Durham for the Worldwide Photo Walk. This is the third year in a row I’ve been to one of these, and it was another good day – lots of sunshine, lots to see, lots of people to enjoy the walk with. Loads of photos have been taken, and I’ll be posting them as tuit supplies allow, but for now here’s one of Durham Cathedral:

Which is earlier than I get out on weekdays
