Down quite nicely today. All quite random, but I’ll still take credit for it, so there.
In a development that probably caused a disturbance in the Farce, I skipped the usual Frankie & Benny’s breakfast and just did the usual shopping. My cunning plan was to get out and go to Durham while it was nice and sunny. But by the time the bus arrived and got me into Newcastle, it was a much duller day, and by the time I got to the station, the motivation for travel had altogether wandered off to do something else. I think it went shopping, or something. So I had a bit of a wander, passing by the recently altered Black Gate, then down to the Quayside, which is generally a good place to be with a camera. After I’d done that, I had a quick trip to the MetroCentre, then back to Newcastle and back home.
Various random acts of photography were committed, but you’re just getting one for now. This is a view along the Tyne which I’ve tweaked a bit in Silver Efex Pro, which has made the sky a wee bit more dramatic than it was in what passes for reality around here:
Shutter speed: 1/50s

 Not a typo
More on that later. Possibly much later.
