The scale was definitely in a funny mood today, taking much longer than normal to settle down and show an actual final figure, so I’m not entirely sure I believe the answer it finally chose…
Anyway, after my free Frankie & Benny’s breakfast (the loyalty card did its job nicely), and the not so free shopping (Tesco’s don’t do that, apparently), as it was a quite nice day, I took myself and the X-T1 out. After dithering a bit, I decided it was time for a return visit to Corbridge, and as luck would have it, I arrived at the station just in time to catch a late-running train.
I got to Corbridge, wandered around a bit, had a look at the Roman site then wandered back towards the station. My timing wasn’t so good on the way back, so I had over half an hour to wait. This wouldn’t have been so bad, as I had my Kindle with me, but it had turned cold. Very cold. When I went out, as it was rather nice for the time of year, I picked my lighter coat. This turned out to be a bad move, as I was ever so slightly frozen by the time the train arrived. But I got home without any delays, and thawed out…
And when I got home, I was just in time to catch a quite impressive sunset from my back window. I may need to do some more editing to get the best out of the photos I took, but we’ll go with this for now:
