Weight and Stuff Report – 14 March 2015

Bother, up again today. More random oddness…

Having finished my shopping early (and having not had the traditional Frankie & Benny’s breakfast for the third week in a row[1]), and with it being a dull and grey day, I decided to have a tour of some of the local cultural attractions.

I started off at the Baltic, where there were some odd things on show, some of which were appealing, others were more of the “err, yeah” variety…

My next target was the Discovery Museum, but I got sidetracked by the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition at the Centre for Life. This was made even more attractive as at present parts of the centre are closed for refurbishment, which means the normally moderately painful admission charge has been lowered to £5. There was some stunning work on show, all nicely lit and well laid out. Well worth a visit.

I then had a wander around Discovery as planned, and then found I’d almost run out of afternoon and came home.
