Down again today. The scale did show an even lower figure this morning, but it was a wee bit too low to be entirely believable, so I’m going with this figure instead.
Back to work today, where things were done.
Whenever I visit York, I always look, or rather listen, out for Ed Alleyne-Johnson, often to be found busking in the city. I’ve mentioned him before, and make no apologies for doing so again. The guy plays a gloriously purple electric violin through a bunch of effects pedals, and works through an ear-pleasing mixture of his own compositions and arrangements of popular songs. I’m particularly fond of his version of Muse’s Starlight, for instance. If you don’t get to visit York, check out some of his music – you’ll find stuff on YouTube, and he has several albums available on shiny round thing and download. Here he is at work. Just for a change, I used Lightroom’s colour sliders to get the effect I was after – boosting the purple and desaturating everything else highlighted the violin without me having to mess around with masks, selections or any of that nonsense.
