Hmmm, down by the smallest measurable amount today. I had a semi walk to work – got off the bus in Gateshead to pick up a prescription and drop off the form I collected yesterday, and walked from there. I had a short walk at lunchtime which involved buying a new oven lamp. It had failed some time ago, but the only time I remembered this was when I had the oven on and it was therefore too hot to attempt removing the old bulb. Readers with long memories may recall that I had a bit of bother last time I needed to change the bulb, but it was fine this time, probably because when I put the last one in I didn’t tighten it with a machine tool as I suspect the manufacturer did with the original.
