After a final breakfast at Sŵn y Môr, we checked out and headed for Caernarfon, where we had a look around the magnificent castle:

I enjoyed the view looking up in an empty tower:

After a good look around there, we had a bit of a wander, seeing some activity on the Menai Straits:

We also learned that the Doctor seems to have finally got around to fixing that pesky chameleon circuit. Probably:

After a not very good lunch at a Table Table (my Sunday lunch suffered from tough beef and soggy Yorkshire pudding, and Geoff’s macaroni cheese wasn’t any better), we headed on to the Airworld Museum at Caernarfon airport, where we saw various things including this Harrier:

We then headed for Criccieth, where I checked out the castle from the outside:

And from there it was on to Porthmadog to pick up something to eat and then to Penrhyndeudraeth for a return visit to the Wenallt Guest House, where we received the usual friendly welcome.

Tomorrow may involve some railway-related activity….
