Well, well, down again after yesterday’s special new year rise. It’s probably more random wossnameness, but I’ll take it as a positive step, or something along those lines.
In a shocking development, I started Saturday with breakfast at Frankie & Benny’s for the first time since 2015, which is positively ages ago. I must make more of an effort to go there this year.
Having done that, I went to the Metrocentre, where I succeeded in buying a belt for my jeans, so I don’t have to keep swapping it around. I did have another one, but it broke. Due to poor design and materials, not my extreme girth, I hasten to add. And yes that’s right. Oh stop it. Don’t be mean.
I also succeeded in buying a new camera strap. For the last few years, I’ve been using a wrist strap rather than the more usual over the neck thing, but that’s sometimes a bit awkward. So I’ve got another Peak Design thingy which uses the same clever little attachments as my wrist strap, so it’s easy to switch between the two when I need to. I may do some kind of review thingy when I find a suitable tuit.
And then I returned via Newcastle, where I bought something else, then came home and had something to eat.
And now I’m planning a relaxed evening and wondering it it’ll be dry enough tomorrow for me to take the camera somewhere.
On the subject of taking the camera to places, here’s a view of All Saints church:
