Weight and Stuff Report – 20 January 2016

No further weight gain today, which I suppose is an improvement. Though the possibility that the scale is playing with my fragile little mind remains, of course.

I had a day off today  :tigger:  I’d booked the annual service/safety check of my gas heating system (or “boiler”, if you prefer) for the morning, and decided that rather than do the usual work from home thing, I’d just have a nicely relaxed day off.

Well, the service was done by 9:30, which was nice. After a bit of relaxing, I went to Tesco’s to get some top-up shopping. Well, mostly a little quiche and some cheese for my lunch. And the pods for my work coffee machine that I totally forgot to get last weekend. Came back, ate some food, then went out. I had a brief look at the Metrocentre, then a brief look in Newcastle, when I remembered what I’d vaguely thought of getting. I had a look, then left to do some research at home. Satisfied with the results of my research, I returned to Newcastle and bought the thing[1] and came home. And here I am.

And here’s Thomas, who seems to have a side job in Saltwell Park

I wonder where Thomas is now. He used to parked up by the old stables but I walked that way today with my great grandson and there was no sign of him. Perhaps he has been summoned back to Sodor by the Fat Controller. He was definitely on duty during the Christmas holidays.
