Weight and Stuff Report – 23 July 2016

Down again today, which may be connected with having a long day out at the Sunderland International Air Show. Having done my shopping after work yesterday, I was free to make an early start, missing the crowds on the Metro and getting into my usual location not long after 10:30, giving me plenty of time to sit and relax before the show started at 12:45. And it was a very good show indeed, with lots to see in the air and an impressive beach assault by the Royal Marines. The only downside for me was that the Lancaster was unable to fly, but the rest of the show made up for it.

I took the X-T1 with the 100-400mm lens and the 2x teleconverter, which enabled me to get some shots I’m happy with. They’ll be appearing here over the next few days, starting with this one of this quite lovely Calidus Gyrocopter
