Weight and Stuff Report – 4 November 2016

OK, weight down a bit.

I went to Berwick-upon-Tweed today, and did a considerable bit of walking – that’s the highest step count of the year, and I can tell you that it hurt a bit towards the end, what with it being uphill…

Just for a change, I walked over the old Berwick Bridge, had a walk along the river Tweed to get to get a better view of the lovely Royal Border Bridge, complete with train:

I then walked back from Tweedmouth to Berwick over the 20th century Royal Tweed Bridge. I stopped for a bit of lunch, then took a wander around which led me to the pier, which I hadn’t walked out on before. Well, it was a nice day, so off I went, pausing only for a rare selfie:

And I got some photos of the lighthouse at the end of the pier

I then decided that I’d done enough walking for one day, and headed back to the station. And that’s the bit where my legs started to complain. Still, I got there and managed to get onto a train without falling over, so it wasn’t too bad.
