Weight and Stuff Report – 12 November 2016

Hmmm, down a lot today, which supports my theory that yesterday’s figure was an anomalous wossname.

After the usual shopping, I did a bit of research and decided on an outing to somewhere I’ve never been before – Barnard Castle. I’ve been through it a couple of times (going somewhere work-related, as I recall), but never actually visited. So, I got a train to Darlington, located the cunningly hidden bus stop and got a bus there. They run every 30 minutes and depending which one you catch, it takes around 35-45 minutes.

Once I arrived, I had a look around the castle, then avoided slithering down a very steep path which led to the riverside, crossed the bridge, came back, had a wander through the town and then got a bus back.

Photographs were taken, and I’ll be working on those tomorrow, but here’s one to be going on with. It’s another bridge on a river (though it is a return to the River Tees, albeit at a very different stage in its journey to the sea):
