It’s been all of five years and about as many cameras since I got my last batch of cards from those nice Moo people, and while I was sorting out my new camera bag last week, I realised I didn’t have many left, and more to the point, the old ones didn’t have my spiffy logo. So, I decided it was time to create some more. I went for a smaller range of designs this time – just four photos that I’m quite fond of, with the new logo and the usual contact details on the back.
Just for a change, I went for the gloss finish this time – for the photos I’d selected, it seemed like it would be a better option. After some dithering (and locating a 10% discount code), I placed the order last Wednesday night. As these are custom print jobs, I wasn’t particularly concerned that the estimated delivery date was this Friday. I did suspect they might be a bit quicker than that when I got the despatch notification on Friday, with delivery now estimated for tomorrow. But I wasn’t all that surprised when they arrived yesterday. And here they are:
Shutter speed: 1/40s
Focal length: 34.2mm
Taken: 20 June, 2017
As always, a photo of a photo doesn’t really do it justice – these cards really do look very good indeed – the images are clear, sharp and bright and the gloss finish sets them off just as I’d hoped.
If you meet me in real life, I’ll probably offer you a card!
Note: that’s a referral link – if you buy through that, I’ll get a little something
Well, I might have some more which I’ll have put in one of those safe places…
